Guardian Angel
From: NW Magazine
Date: March 10 2003
The Guardian got a new soundtrack. And is back on the new night. NW caught up with the star Wendy Moniz whose character is in for rocky time this season…..
Q : What’s like working with Aussie Simon Baker?
A : It’s a lot of fun-he’s very easygoing. But listening to him talk….sometimes it’s like another language! He was saying something about pashing the other day. That’s now a new word that’s come up over here. In gossip columns they all now say they saw celebrities pash.
Q : Could have ever been a lawyer in real life?
A : No! But it’s fun as I get to play someone smart and use big words! And the character’s great-this season my relationship with Nick takes a twist.
Q : Worse acting experience?
A : I spent a season on Nash Bridges and walk away from it empty-the character just wasn’t deep.
Q : Silliest acting job?
A : My time on US soap The Guiding Light. They so silly here. I met my husband (Actor Frank Gillo) on it. He played my love interest-and I have to shot him. Another time I have to wear a fake burn thing which peeled off everytime I spoke.
Q : Any on-set indulgences?
A : Well, My Maltese dog comes to work with me everyday. She hangs out in trailers. When she came come along with me. She goes to her dog sitter. Very LA.!
